Breath of Hope celebrates the lives of survivors and honors those whom lung cancer has taken from us. Lung cancer is the leading cause of death among both men and women and claims the lives of 1.3 million Americans each year. Despite these overwhelming statistics, lung cancer receives only a fraction of the funding other forms of cancer receive. Breath of Hope was founded by Mike Stevens, Maria Diaz and Kathleen Larson who have inspired the lives of countless others — to date the Breath of Hope Walk has provided more than $8600,000 to lung cancer research.
