We invite you to join the fight against lung cancer by volunteering for the San Diego Breath of Hope Lung Cancer Walk.
Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health and San Diego Breath of Hope are dedicated to coming together in support of people living with, or who are at risk of developing, lung cancer by raising awareness and funds to find a cure. Each year more than 1,000 supporters who walk in remembrance of loved ones lost to this disease, and to honor and celebrate lung cancer survivors with friends and family — but we need your help to make this event a success!
Volunteer opportunities are available to help with setup and tear down, event decoration, vendor assistance, registration, ground maintenance and much more. Each volunteer will receive a commemorative Breath of Hope Walk t-shirt as our gift for their willingness to help make the Breath of Hope Lung Cancer walk a great experience for everyone.
No matter what walk of life we come from, virtually every person is touched by cancer — either personally or through a loved one. And everyone can walk together to make a difference by supporting Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health and Breath of Hope in finding a cure.
It is the mission of San Diego Breath of Hope to raise public awareness of lung cancer, generate funds dedicated to finding a cure, and to honor and celebrate our lung cancer survivors with their friends and family. Proceeds from the San Diego Breath of Hope Walk will benefit Lung Cancer Research at Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health.
Thank you for your support, we can’t wait to see you there!
